February Updates

February Updates

Hello, my beautiful readers! 💜 It's Aly with another monthly update!

Things have taken a rather busy turn lately. We put in a cash offer on a home and IT GOT ACCEPTED! Plus, did I mention we are also SELLING a house? 🙃 Everything is feeling a bit topsy-turvy, and I'm a little behind on my word count goals. Even so, I'm feeling optimistic and on FIRE for the next book in my Aeromancy Academy series, Fire's Vengeance! (I know, I'm a dork 😂).

Read on to snag a new freebie available on my shop, PLUS tons of sneak peeks at upcoming books!

Sirens of Saelyn Series Updates

📚PAPERBACKS of Siren's Illusion and Siren's Destruction are now available on my shop! Finally haha. You can also check out the e-book and paperback bundle deals I've got going!

🧜🏻‍♀️ I still don't have a release date for Siren's Redemption (Book 3). I do, however, have a new teaser to share with you. Rest assured I'm making good progress on this book and I'm still on track to release it by the end of the year! Provided nothing crazy happens with this move 😂

The Gilded Rock stood before her, criss-crossed with veins of agate and crystal and casting its long shadow over the beach. She stepped into its shadow, now invisible to passers-by, drew her cloak around herself, and waited.

A moment or two passed in a silence somehow rich with sounds—the beating of the waves upon the shore, the cry of distant seagulls.

Then a hard, hollow thump.

Elana turned.

A small, simple boat bobbed on the water, its hull bumping the Gilded Rock with each crest in the waves.

She furrowed her brow. There was no sign of a fisherman or a sailor nearby, no footsteps in the sand.

Where had it come from?

Tingles shrouded her mind. The boat began to move towards her, seemingly of its own accord.

Elana took a step back. Her hackles raised.

Do not fear. A familiar voice in her mind. The boat is not haunted as you suspect.

The boat passed into the shadow of the Rock, and only then did she see the faintest flash of sapphire scales under the waves and the v-shaped wake of water around a rope tied to the bow.

She clasped a hand over her mouth. Prince Seynan was pulling the boat to her. He meant to tow her out to sea so he could speak with her.

Your Highness, she protested, speaking to him mentally. Please do not stoop to such a menial task. I am capable of rowing. Or swimming.

The boat paused and the prince breached the surface in the shadow, his long, golden tresses glittering with water and sapphires and strewn with lace coral. He wore no crown and no gilded breastplate, but his royalty and otherworldly beauty remained. His radiant blue eyes gave him a bizarre, yet striking appearance as he smirked at her.

Elana stared against her better judgement, her ears flushed and face burning.

“You could swim half a mile out, could you?” He teased. The voice she’d grown accustomed to, his human voice, had been veiled over with sonorous depth. “I’d like to see you try it.”

Goodness gracious, sometimes I want to punch Prince Seynan for flustering Elana so badly. Most of the time, though, I just cackle maniacally 😈😂

Aeromancy Academy Series Updates

🔥Fire's Vengeance (Book 2) officially releases EVERYWHERE on March 12! That's not far away!! (excited squealing)

⚡️I'm also working on a super special project that might involve getting Lightning's Wrath (Book 1) into audio....😱😉🎧 More details to come on that in a future update!

🌕One more update: a new FREEBIE is available in my shop! You can now snag Moonlit Madness for free. It's a short story based loosely on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream featuring Hanna, Desert Wind, Bea, Summer Rain, and a magical moon that turns Prefects into Prince Charmings.

And, as promised, I've got ANOTHER teaser for you from Book 2 that's just PERFECT for Valentine's Day!🔥

“So. This was your idea, huh, Tempest?” Hanna held her rose in one hand while cradling her chin in the other.

“Ha. Yeah.” Klaus chuckled nervously.

“Playing wingman for your buds, hmm?” She nudged him with her elbow. “Pretty slick. I think it worked.”

“Definitely.” His heart fell a bit. This hadn’t been just for his friends. He studied her as she turned back to her meal with a smile. “I’m glad I got the right color for yours. I was worried.”

Hanna glanced up at him. “You really are a big cinnamon roll, you know that?”

Klaus laughed. “Yeah. I know. I just wanted to see all of you ladies happy.” He put emphasis on the word all, half-hoping she’d catch on.

Her brown eyes lit up as she studied him. Then she turned back to her meal, and he was pretty sure he saw some pink on her cheeks.

Can they get any cuter? 😍 🌹 I'm not sure if it's possible.

That's all for now! I hope you have a wonderful February! 💜
