I've got lots of updates and exciting things to share about the year ahead, including a hint at my release schedule and an update on my publishing goals moving forward!
Publishing Goals 📚
This year, I'm focusing on building my own store and strengthening my connections with my readers. 💜
Effective by the end of February 2024, ALL of my books will be leaving Kindle Unlimited for good and will be available WIDE (meaning Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Barnes and Noble, Google Play, MY STORE...basically EVERYWHERE!).
I'm also going to be emphasizing my own store much more emphatically this year because it allows me full control over my profits, my marketing strategies, and most importantly, how I communicate with you lovely readers. I want to build a community, not just a group of customers, and getting to know you guys through my store and my newsletter allows me to do that with much greater freedom and warmth. ✨
As far as actual books and release schedules, I don't want to give away too much (or overcommit and end up having to backtrack, especially since we're moving this year 😅), but my tentative plan is to release 7 new titles this year, the first of which was Lightning's Wrath this month! (Thank you guys, by the way, for your support--I was thrilled to see several new reviews during launch week and to see Lightning's Wrath make it to the top 20 of the New Releases for YA Contemporary Fantasy on Amazon during launch week!).
Coming up in March, we'll have the sequel to Lightning's Wrath (Fire's Vengeance) and in May, a special novella focusing on one of the MMC's three mysterious brothers.
After May...well, we'll save that for another update. 😉
Tell me: Do you prefer to shop on the major retailers (Amazon, Apple, etc.) or do you prefer to support authors directly? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 💜
SIRENS OF SAELYN 🧜🏻♀️
This series, I'll admit, has been a bit on the back burner while the muse takes me on a wild ride through my Aeromancy Academy series, but I promise I haven't forgotten about it! Book 3, Siren's Redemption, is on my schedule to be released this year, but I'm not quite ready to commit to an official date. You guys will be the first to know when I do, though! 😉
Just as a reminder, this series will be leaving Kindle Unlimited on January 25, so if you've been curious, go ahead and borrow your copies now! You can always purchase copies on Amazon--they'll just be leaving the Kindle Unlimited program for borrowers after January 25th.
AEROMANCY ACADEMY⚡️
I think I've covered a lot of the updates in the previous sections, but I'll summarize quickly here:
-Book 1, Lightning's Wrath, is available EVERYWHERE!
-Book 2, Fire's Vengeance, is coming out March 12th and is available for pre-order almost everywhere (but you can get a special, automatic discount if you order through my shop!).
-Book 2.5 (a special novella focusing on one of the MMC's brothers) is coming out in May!
-AND...I'm already hard at work on Book 3!!
I seriously cannot wait to get this series out to you guys. Lightning's Wrath has already gotten such a good response and I'm excited to see who else falls in love with Aeromancy Academy!
